Discover Alaska's breathtaking beauty with a scenic flight, luxurious crab feast, and coastal adventure.

Immerse yourself in the quintessential Alaskan adventure with a spectacular blend of breathtaking scenery and luxurious dining at World Famous George Inlet Lodge. This once-in-a-lifetime journey combines a stunning mountain top flightseeing experience with an exquisite seafood feast, making it the highlight of your Alaskan getaway.

Feel the thrill as a DeHavilland aircraft comes to life with your skilled pilot at the controls. Enjoy a guaranteed window seat and individual headsets for insightful narration as you ascend from the sparkling ocean below. Glide over the Tongass Narrows, taking in bustling communities and awe-inspiring mountain ranges that define this remarkable region.

Southeast Alaska’s vast wilderness features remote indigenous communities, abandoned mining towns, high alpine lakes, breathtaking snow-capped peaks, lush Tongass National Forest, and the serene waters of the Inside Passage. All of this scenic landscape is best experienced from a vantage point amongst the clouds.

Your flight to George Inlet Lodge takes you over rugged peaks at the southern tip of Revillagigedo Island. Keep an eye out for mountain goats on snowy slopes, black bears foraging for berries, or humpback whales breaching in the ocean. As your floatplane gently lands on the tranquil waters of George Inlet, you’ll be greeted by your host. Capture the stunning view of your floatplane against the backdrop of the Tongass National Forest.

At George Inlet, your host will introduce you to the lodge’s history — what is now a rustic, yet elegant retreat once served as a cannery bunkhouse in the early 1900’s. Snap a photo in front of your float plane before savoring a delectable meal in the dining room, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of George Inlet.

Guests will enjoy a taste of Alaska with a sit-down meal featuring locally sourced seafood, centered around the famous dungeness crab, which is sure to satisfy your taste buds. A selection of local beverages will accompany your main course. Meal service varies slightly based on departure time but always highlights regional ingredients and flavors.

The tour concludes with a scenic 25-minute coastal drive showcasing Ketchikan’s waterfront, harbors, totem parks, and everyday Alaskan life. Depending on scheduling, the tour may operate in reverse order.
